WBNH is again an Operation Christmas Child Drop-off Location

WBNHmap-OCC.jpgSince 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child.  Local churches and ministry partners, along with families and individuals all come together every year to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ.  There are thousands of needy children overseas who would not enjoy Christmas were it not for a shoebox gift received by way of Operation Christmas Child.

Again this year, WBNH is a drop-off location where you can bring your shoebox gifts.  In fact, we want you to bring the entire collection being gathered at your church!  We will then take all the gifts to the shipping point for distribution overseas.  Last year, over 1700 shoeboxes were brought here to the radio station!  And this year, we’re expecting even more.

A Time for Thanksgiving

thanksgiving.jpgWith Thanksgiving Day later this month, it is fitting that we turn to God with thanks. We thank Him for His creation, for the time we have on this Earth in which we can bring souls to Him, for the abilities He gives each of us to work in His kingdom, and especially in a world of uncertainty, we thank Him for ministry partners like you. WBNH is most fortunate to be able to broadcast the Good News over the airwaves, on-line and by way of our smart phones. And we can do this without intervention from outside forces, thanks to our country that still gives us this freedom. We are thankful that even in economic times that make many things a challenge, our listeners still feel it important to support God’s radio station. We could not broadcast without support from our listeners and for this we are most grateful.

As Thanksgiving Day approaches, we here at WBNH are thankful that you, friend, still stand with us before God in ministry. We deem you a viable part of what we do and we are thankful for your monetary support and your prayers. Both mean much to us, as without them, we simply would cease to exist. May God bless you abundantly this Thanksgiving and beyond.  May His Holy Spirit continue to abide with you in the future.
