SaveSaeed Prayer Vigil
Sep 26, 2013 at 12:00 PM
Saeed Abedini is an American Pastor, grew up, and became a believer in Iran. He and his wife live in Boise, Idaho where he is a pastor. He traveled to Iran to start an orphanage, was pulled off a bus and put in Evin Prison because he is a Christian. Sept. 26 marks the one year anniversary of his arrest. A world wide prayer vigil is being held to remember Saeed and others who are in prison for their faith.
The local vigil is being held in East Peoria around the fountain, in front of City Hall, at Main and Washington Streets, at noon, on September 26.
The news has had numerous things about this man, his wife has been interviewed several times by Fox News, 700 Club, Decision Magazine and others during the past year. In a recent interview of her, she spoke of suffering, how this is impacting her 2 small children, and how by embracing suffering, God is able show Jesus to those around us. She says, "No matter what, I will follow Jesus!".
Location: East Peoria, in front of City Hall, by the fountain, Main and Washington Stree
