My favorite memory is the summer of 2008, when we had 5 grandkids here for a week! We just played all week: water balloons, pie in the face (really just whipped cream on the plate!), a trip to a fun Childrens' exhibit at Lake View Museum in Peoria and other fun things. We did laundry, cooked, and did dishes together, but didn't do any house cleaning. (That could wait til after they went home.) Though we didn't know it then, it would turn out to be the ONLY TIME we'd ever have them here at the same time, as three of them moved to Australia in November of 2008. Now I cherish those memories more than ever and wish we could have time with all of them again.
